Description
For Sale: I have a large bw102 system for sale. This is one of the biggest that Daniel ever assembled. It was purchased from Juan Marquez of RCA/BMG in NYC (the original owner) six years ago. It has been upgraded to 96/24. The modules occupy 3 frames with dual p/s. module list: Sine Generator2x 24Bit SDIF InputsAES InputSample Frequency Converter3x Upsamplers2x DownsamplersDeemphasisParametric EQ2x 4-in-2 Mixers w/ pairs of Split-Ups, Interrupts, and SDIF Inserts for verb, etcDynamics ProcessorDAE Coprocessor (for sample phase-lock post insert path)ANR (POWR dither)2x AES OutputsSDIF OutputBit MonitorThe controller/ remote is a long-frame style, incl. programmer, EQ, Level Control Master, Level Control slave, a second Level Control Master, and Dynamics.Programmer data output to MIDI or FSK (1630 dump). This Harmonia works flawlessly (aside from intermittent E-L backlights behind programmer LCD, and mixer #2 LCD) and comes with all documents. I would be happy to acquaint the new owner with the proper operation of this magnificent device.  I will also include a large book with all of the information on it that I have as well as some documents prepared for me by J. Marquez.I spoke with Daniel Weiss at the AES Convention in San Francisco this Fall and he told me he has a large stock of modules available. This system could easily be reconfigured as two systems. You rarely see these come up for sale.  There have been few made since they were introduced, but 100's of thousands of CD's have been mastered with one of these systems.  It is in a league of it's own.  There are still some things that the Harmonia can do that nothing else out there can touch.  What you see here amounts to around $80,000 - $90,000 US worth of hardware if it were to be assembled by Weiss today.  You can own it for much, much less.  Don't let this one get away!It is large and fairly heavy and will require some special packing considerations, so shipping costs will be determined upon the completion of the sale. Because ebay really wants the seller to use their shipping calculator, the auction reads "Flat Rate Cost". I'm assuming a flat-rate for domestic shipping of $300 and International $500 to be the minimum.  Final shipping costs may fluctuate with level of insurance and crating costs. I am able to ship worldwide.
