Covered in a black finish with an ivory-coloured binding, this instrument is in quite good shape for it's age, which we estimate to be approximately 80 years old. The stamp on the top reads "Wurlitzer" with "Made In America" beneath the name. Cosmetically speaking there are a number of small scratches, the finish has dulled with age. and the keys, buttons, and binding have all yellowed. There is a faux-leather snap-on cover on the underside of the keyboard that is still in good condition despite some wear-and-tear around two of the snaps. The leather straps are very worn at the buckles, one strap having broken loose, but there is a lovely flower pattern embossed into the black leather. Three keys stick (low A, C,and F) but release when the next key up is depressed. All other keys and buttons work very well and all produce a full, clear tone. The bellows appear to be in excellent condition and this accordion generally appears to be a well-maintained and near perfectly playable instrument. The dimensions with bellows closed are approx. 14 3/4"D x 18 7/16"W at keyboard X 10"H. Case included.
