This is the best polyphonic synthesizer ever built in my opinion!! Words cannot really describe the wonderful sound of these machines, and this one will surely be missed!! The synth is in great condition cosmetically as well as mechanically. It just came back from Ed Miller, and wonderful local tech here in Los Angeles, with a clean bill of health and sounds amazing!! All keys/knobs work and feel great, all sliders move smoothly and work perfectly! The only thing missing is the metal plate with the serial and model number, which I was told by the original owner was done for theft purposes and stored away..and ultimately lost along the way ;( There are a few scratches here and there that would really be hard to notice, and nothing out of the ordinary. This synth is absolutely in great shape all around!! I would also like to point out that this particular Jupiter has MIDI installed!! Yep, and it is the Encore midi kit which I believe is the best kit you can buy for the JP8. The synth comes with the midi kit manual, and also a very thick Jupiter 8 manual with pages and pages of extremely in-depth schematics etc.. I am unsure if this is a 12bit model or 14bit model, as I have no way of finding this information due to the missing serial plate. In any regard, Ed Miller said it's a great sounding JP8 and he certainly has seen many of them. This Jupiter 8 sounds awesome!! If you are looking for a complete JP-8 with all the bells and whistles, here you go! I am really torn-up about selling this, so don't be alarmed if the auction disappears suddenly, with a no longer for sale heading ;) Please give this a good home!
