It took British Engineer's years to figure out the secret as to why Bass Guitars had such a character and special tone on most American Recordings back in the day. Both units are completely original with the exception of one switch, which was replaced with a brand new one of an identical type and model. Both units are in pristine condition considering that they are nearly 50 years old.I just replaced all tubes with matched Original NOS.
