It is a 3 voice, with the classic Paolo musette tuning. Although it is in very used condition, it is still perfectly playable as is. But would greatly benefit from a professional overhaul. The tuning is not bad at all, but needs touching up. All the reeds look to be original, in good clean condition. All the valves have been renewed, apart from the bass reeds. The bellows have new end gaskets fitted. There is one bellows corner missing. It appears to be all original, although i can't vouch for the cover plate behind the fingerboard. Having never seen one of these before, i'm not sure if it's a replacement or original. It is a lot darker in real life than the photo suggests. Obviously, the straps and bellows straps are not. It has the suppliers badge, Matchetts of Belfast. Also a repairers transfer, Johnnie Owens of Ballymoney. The serial # is 155. There are 2 filled holes next to the Paolo badge, possibly where a mic was fitted. Also a small chip in the pearloid, above.
