Up for sale is a beautiful Gibson Master Model.  The pictures speak for themselves. This mandolin was built and is signed by the late Charlie Derrington of Gibson. You will be hard pressed to find a Gibson Master Model with prettier wood on it (other than my Cherry Master Model which is also for sale, also signed by Charlie Derrington). Some of the pictures are taken in the sun, and the mandolin appears lighter than what it does indoors. It is darker around the back, but lighter in the middle. I will try to upgrade the pictures over Thanksgiving weekend if possible. It is indeed beautiful wood. This mandolin is extremely balanced and has a wonderful tone. It is in near mint condition having just one tiny indentation on the back of the neck where something apparently bumped it (perhaps by the case upon closing).  It is 99 percent mint. Has a great chop, and plays wonderfully.  You can get the specifications at the Gibson site.
