These were the sets that inspired the dreams of collectors and drum fans 'The original STOP SIGN sets. You know that this is one of THE American sets from the Golden era of American drums . That been stated lets go for the specs:   Excellent Condition Gretsch DARK WALNUT, 4 piece model  Original finish set on 8x12, 9x13"tt ,16x16" ft and 14x24 bd-Original lugs all around the set-Original Die Cast hoops and tension rods all around the set-Gretsch  STOP SIGN badges -Original Bass drum claws and T rods-Bearing edges in original condition-Mild  pitting on  Hardware -Original Bass drum hoops -8x12 tom complete with both mufflers in working condition, inner stickers reads: model 4415 and serial no:46844. good overall condition, mild scratches on the finish -9x13 tom complete with both mufflers in working condition, Inner sticker reads : model 4416 and serial no: 46845. good condition, scratches on the finish 16x16 Floor tom complete with bot mufflers in working condition, Inner sticker reads: model 4418, serial no: 47682. fair condition many light scratches on the finish 14x24 Bass drum complete with Pratt muffler system missing the hand size knob. Inner sticker reads: model 4269, serial no: 47736. Fair condition, theres some decoloration on the bottom of the shell were the finish took some kind of greenish tone. The hoops got the same decoloration and theres plenty of scratches on the laquer. Theres some delamination on the laquer around the right spur on a spot of about 3 inches of radio, theres wood exposed there but no cracks just paint and laquer missing. The tom holder is missing a part to conect the toms, however the bass drum internal post are present and the toms present the plastic ball brackets. the missing parts shouldnt be hard to find here on ebay or maybe its a good chance to go for a modern system. I suggest Rims or isolated supension systems for the rack toms   -Set fitted with a combination of used, different brands and model heads all of them in usable condition. This is a Pro level drum kit that needs TLC but the if you dont mind the cosmetical issues theres nothing wrong with the playability of these instrument. If you're a handy person you can save at least 2 grants if you are willing to sand and relaquer,rewrap or repaint this set.                     - The set is in Fair to Good condition acording to the Key 5 code, the issues that prevent the set to reach Good condition are described and they're reflected on the price.
