Description   Fender Stratocaster 1962 Sunburst Tidy Sweet Slab Board Neck Lightweight Loud & Spanky Here's a nice clean Early 1962 Stratocaster sporting a Killer Brazilian Rosewood Slab Board. It doesn't get any better than this. Slab boards go away in early 1963 so this is the ultimate Slab Board Strat Year.... Body and Neck Dates 12/61 and Pots date to 35th week of 1960 and the serial number is 69XXX. Solder looks untouched. All three pickups have their own sound, but have equal volume. Reading at the output jack, the pickups measure 5.67 Bridge, 5.64 Middle, and 5.40 Neck position. These are really sweet singing pickups. Body has just a bit of edge wear and arm wear. Guitar weighs in at a feather-like 7 pounds 6 ounces. Finish is still shiny and rich and unfaded. Hardware is in really nice condition. Brown case is really nice also, and it has the bridge cover, tremolo arm and original strap. Plays and sounds great! This guitar is ready to play and enjoy immediately and needs nothing...you will not be disappointed in the condition or play of this fine quality built guitar.
