The back of the body is decorated with Mother of Pearl inlay.  The three rosette sound holes on the soundboard are rimmed by Mother of Pearl inlay. The soundboard has a light finish.  The nut to bridge measures approximately 24 inches.  Over all dimensions are approximately 32 x 14 x 8 inches.  Oud includes extra string set, oud pick and case.  The case has three locks and a hand grip, vinyl outside and cloth inside. Fingerboard & pick guard are Rosewood. Soundboard is Spruce. And the pegs are Ebony.  Beautifully adorned, this oud has eleven strings in six courses (nylon and nylon wound). Comes with 11 not 12 strings because the double string on the 6th course is not necessary. Made in Egypt. Also known as Arabic Oud.   In answer to a question:"would it be easy to reveres the nut on the Oud to make it a lefty" You can first try just re-stringing it.  You may not need to do anything to the nut.   Second, If the strings are switched and the thicker strings are now too thick for the notches in the nut, the notches can be widened with fine sand paper to provide enough room for the thicker strings after they are switched.   Last, If it seems that the nut actually requires reversal, loosen the strings and then see if the nut will pop out.  Some are set with a little glue, Others are loose and only held in by the string tension.     Shipping to lower 48 states is via UPS.
