Built specifically for the North American market in 1989 with serial number 4790874, this great sounding piano is in superb condition throughout from top to bottom and features a high gloss ebony polish finish, brass hardware, duplex scale and Yamaha's patented Disklavier player system. Play it as a regular instrument or let the player system do it for you, complete with moving keys, and performances that are as realistic and as nuanced as having a live performer right there at the piano. Housed in a small rolling unit called a Control Wagon, also finished in a matching high-gloss ebony polish, the player system not only plays back prerecorded music, but also allows you to record and playback your own performances to its floppy disc drive, and has controls for volume, tempo, transpose, song select, repeat, left and right part cancel, and MIDI in and out. Its tone is clear and singing and its touch is superb.
