Loaded!' Description The DM2000 V.2 remains an industry standard due to its software upgradeability and its sweet sounding mic preamps. This one is pretty loaded with 5 cards (4 x MY8AE96 8 channel 96 kHz Series Mini YGDAI digital i/o card and 1 x MY8ADDA96 8-Channel Analog I/O card), meter bridge and wooden side panels. We are the original purchasers (2.5 years) and the console has only been used in our now closed climate controlled recording studio. The unit is in excellent physical and functional shape. The only issue is that the screws from the meter bridge connector were damaged when we put the board into storage (sorry bout that) this month, but the connector is not damaged, stays completely snug and there is no impairment of function. The DM2000 V.2 combines a wide array of surround mixing and monitoring functions together with a maximum of 96 inputs and 22 mixing buses, transparent sound quality, 24-bit AD/DA, and 96 kHz sampling, as well as superior integration with DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) packages such as Pro Tools (the removeable PT overlays are already on the console), NUENDO and others. Every channel (up to 96 inputs) has dedicated parametric eq, dynamics and more. There are great already effects on board but you can software upgrade to the VCM version and add plug-ins like VCM EQ, compressors, tape saturation, and guitar effects, along with the outstanding REV-X reverb algorithm newly introduced in the SPX2000. Add to this the smooth, realistic sound of iSSP surround field technology, and you have a console that provides simply amazing performance. The retail of this console with the add-ons is over $24K.
