It has metal ends, metal buttons, steel reeds and 8 fold bellows which have been restored by David Leese and look as new. Inside it is numbered 8847. It has new pads,valves,straps and is tuned to modern concert pitch and comes in a new hard case. It is a good , bright instrument and the only obvious fault that I can find is a small piece of fret missing on the right hand side about a square centimetre in area. One of the keys is a bird whistle which is quite common on these Music Hall concertinas.Can be viewed in Stoke by appointment.
