Description
Incredible, rare, one of a kind designer piano from the late Kalman Detrich. This piano is spectactular, it is Kalmans' signature piano. There is no other like it, and it was made  by famous piano designer and restorer Kalman Detrich. He was known worldwide for his piano restoration and as a concert pianist. He was the founder and director of the worlds first piano museum,"The American Piano Museum" at 291 Broadway, in New York City. It was founded in 1984 and was doing well until the catastrophic September 11th attack. Unfortunately, he recently passed away. He had worked with pianos of John Lennon, and Ella Fitzgerald and many other famous artists, as he was known as the best in the business. This piano named "Perspective", has Kalmans' initials on the bench, see photo. The bench is ver heavy at around 35 pounds, and is shaped with numerous angles. It measures 15" wide by 36" long by 20" high. The piano is 56" wide 28" high to the keys, 62" long, and 38" tall. When you look at the piano one way and it is all black, then look at another angle and the sides are all wood tone, really unique. The top comes off, if desired. It also has an electronic reproducer underneath, which will repeat what you played. If you have a genuine interest in this great piece email for appointment. Located in Lafayette New Jersey, 07848, just 1 hour from New York City. Note: This piano was patented by Mr. Kalman Detrich as Perspective, with patent number D-401962. It cannot be reproduced.
