The wooden comb is turned from Poplar, sealed and painted. The reed plates are new  Hohner MS series, gapped and re-arched and digitally tuned to Richter. The harp is re-assembled using machined nuts and bolts. This creates a super air tight sound chamber. The sound is loud and clean. The Marine Band reed plates are opened in the back and attached to the harp body with nuts and bolts. The cover plates and harp body are then rounded in the old Rauner-Seydel 'Contest' style. The harp is very confortable to hold and allows you to get a great hand cup. This harp plays great. The reeds are loose and easy to bend.
