Many great recordings have been done on this very gear and many famous CD's done on simular gear. The desk is a very forgiving sounding desk and it works fine. What I mean by forgiving is that its very easy to make a great sounding mix on it. It is very useful with computer based recording systems. I highly recomend this system although it is a 90's studio I am selling it at a fraction of what I paid for it. It is low maintenance gear. The analogue tape machine is awsome!   I am selling this studio because I upgraded to new gear and have improved the studio in leaps and bounds. After many successful recordings with this gear I was prompted to move to a much more expensive console. I must sell this gear to make a couple of payments.   Actually this is a great deal  if you look at the savings you are making at buying this complete studio kit. Check this info out!  A new Neve 33609 Compressor  costs  $4500.00  A new pro mic like a neumann new u 87 costs $3200.00.  A vintage neumann u 67 mic costs just under $10.000.00. So really your getting the whole studio that you can add to for the same price studio owners pay for one piece of gear.   I am selling a very nice PRO multi track studio complete with 32 track console (Tascam M-3500+power supply+stand),16 track 1/2 inch tape machine (MSR-16 S) with remote,8 track digital machine (DA-88 with sy 88 simpte time code generator). I have all the manuals to the tascam gear (not pictured). All cables and pro co patch bays Labeled. Also extra cables in case you want to re configure the set up of the system. Audix monitors with the alesis power. I'll include the monitor screen and arm for it,the digitech harmonizer and the tascam 130 cassette tape machine as well. Everything works fine! The equipment was taken care of extremely well and the msr 16 s tape machine was sent to the manufacturer for maintenance every 3 or so years. It sounds great and runs very clean and it includes the take up reel.   I ran it in time code with the da 88 so you can run them together for a total of 24 tracks. I used this system for years as my main recording gear and then I would transfer it to a multi track software for mastering. It is a very warm sounding system and easy to use in that respect. The Tascam M-Series consoles were designed to be a professional/intermediate type of console and they are very forgiving as far as tracking and mixing. They are much better than people realize and that is why they sold so well in the 90's. They have awesome eq's as well as other features like 8 group tracks and very warm sounding eff aux, many popular  professional studio's still this gear today. This gear was used in my studio, I am the only owner! When I purchased the console there was a light for the mute button on channel 5 monitor fader. The mute still works but the light is always on. The main picture was taken shortly before it was removed from the studio and now it is in storage in the next room.  I want to reiterate that this really is very nice gear and  has been well taken care of ! Because of the nature of the transaction I see no reason to have a refund or return policy.
