This L-plate preCBS strat remains in excellent condition with relatively minor traces of use...just a few wear spots shown in the photos. All components appear to be original and there are no funky routes under the pickguard. Unusual dark green finish originally thought to be original by the owner for whom it is being listed. (after hearing from a number of folks on the finish issue he's reconciled to the reality that it MUST be an old refin and has consigned it with me wanting to END UP with $13,000. net which is the price it is offered at in my shop...) Finish, though not found on the Fender custom color charts and likely NOT original, does LOOK factory quality. Front pickup needs some attention ....worked fine before he sent the guitar out to an "expert" to look it over and then came back with the front pickup now not working. ...probably just a connection., Pot codes look like "137 6422" and "70 2125 0035 250k Aud". $erious inquiries welcome.
