I've been addicted to Vintage Guitars for too many years and have never seen a factory (transparent) black Epiphone Wilshire! It also has the desirable no wire ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic, lightweight stoptail, Sprague Bumblebee's, Bakelite Switchtip, 3/3 short headstock with metal logo.  Think about it for a second, a Factory Transparent Black TOM Solidbody make by Gibson with a pair of P-90's!  Then look at what she weighs...6lb's, 6oz's!!! It has a wonderful wide neck that has a nicely grained Brazilian Rosewood board that show mininal wear...the frets are also in great shape.  As you can see, the neck is nice and straight and set's up with nice low action. As you can see, the electronics are bone stock and nary a solder joint touched.  The P-90's read in at 8.14 and 8.22K!  The neck joint is pristine!!! There is some light wear on the edges and overall is in EX+ (8.8) condition...some would call her Near Mint.  It's a factory second as it appears to have been originally meant to be a wraptail and was plugged at the factory (if I didn't tell you, you would have never known)...see the closeup.  It ships in it's original Soft Case as shown that is also nice and intact. This one is for the true collector, but yet is still a great playing and sounding guitar, a total winner!  I think it only best to ship this one 2nd day air via FedEx and that will be around $200.00 to most places in the lower 48 States.  Shipping guitars and amplifiers is getting expensive due to the ever rising gas costs that carriers pass back back to the shipper.
