No Breaks, No overspray, all original solder, NO EXCUSES !!! This guitar is incredibly lightweight weighing in at exactly 8.38 lbs. or 8 lbs. 6.2 ozs., it feels even lighter than that ! The last one of these I had was 9 1/2 lbs. ! With it's Alnico neck pickup and P-90 in the bridge the tone is heavenly. That Alnico neck pickup has such a unique tone, if you've never heard one of these before your really missing out ! Not many of these left that are absolutely 100% original and straight. Most have suffered one or more of the following: refret, breaks, have been routed for Humbuckers, overspray, tuners changed, parts changed, you name it and considering only 355 were made in 1955 (this includes the ones issued with factory Bigsbys) how many do you think are left that are 100% original with factory tune-o-matic and stop tailpiece ?
